Small office, home office, interstate, or intercontinental, Bekkers can make Wide Area Networking that much easier.
We have been managing carrier networks for 25 years, and our experience as an ISP in the early days of analogue dialup technologies across Public Switched Telephone Networks (PSTN), gave us a ground up advantage.
Our technicians install, configure and manage WAN interfaces. Bekkers manages a number of carriers that supply copper, 4G, satellite and optic fibre line technologies. WAN links can then be established as either a Point-to-Point connection, or relayed between multiple points on switched networks. Transmission protocols such as SONET/SDH, ATM, and MPLS determine how packets of information are sent across those links, and tunneling protocols such as PPTP, L2TP, and SSTP, can be used to create Point-to-Point connections across switched networks to establish Virtual Private Network (VPN) connections.
Once the right type of technologies are in place, our senior specialists will begin to optimise the WAN according to your business requirements. Approaches include data deduplication, compression, caching frequently used data, and protocol spoofing that encapsulates multiples protocols into one. Traffic shaping using either granular Quality of Service (QoS) prioritisation, or less granular prioritisation, known as Class of Service (CoS). These measures can be employed alongside path selection to prioritise how traffic traverses the network, which together offer greater network speed, and can save you money. Shaping and optimizing transmission activities is a must as it will save you money and provide the performance you would expect.
Bekkers can take the complexity of WAN requirements out of the basic business need to communicate across sites. Whether big or small, if you need help managing the technology, or the carrier provides, Bekkers can help.
